Project "U” by Oriano Galloni and Victor A. Diaz

$0.00

A pair of contemporary sculptures made of exotic wood and marble by Oriano Galloni. They are part of the Project “U”. These two, one-of-a-kind pieces were developed in collaboration with Victor A. Diaz for the Sacred Steps Exhibition. These explore the thread between making a sculpture easily able to transport as you move through the journey of life, and the letting go of the place where they once stood. The sculpture is an icon of strength and beauty, which conveys permanence through its aesthetic. The suitcase represents a metaphor of movement that allows one to transfer objects that carry representations of self and security. It is a secret container for a sculpture which eventually transforms to become one with its traveler and its pedestal as the dance between the inside and the outside evolves. Project “U”, unifies these two objects into a symbol that represents one's journey to self and destiny. Encasing dreams known and unknown, intimate memories and personal effects.
