Early 19th Century Spanish Pair of Military Shoulder Epaulettes
Early 19th Century Spanish pair of military shoulder Epaulettes. They are made of tooled gold gilded brass and lined with a maroon-colored velour. The pair is embellished with gold gilded laurel leaves and intricate crested buttons. It has an ornate applied silver design with a silver and velour crown right above. They have hinged arms in the back for applying and have locks at the top. They have been mounted on a hand-painted black panel and framed with a gold gilded and hand-finished frame.
